SINGERS

Rikke Lina Sorell Matthiesen has her singing education from the Grieg Academy in Bergen, Drury University in the USA and the University of Stavanger. Rikke Lina is a versatile soprano soloist with great stage talent. She performs as a soloist with both choirs, orchestras and bands, and performs in musical and opera productions. Rikke Lina thrives well as an instructor, educator and conductor and is widely used as a voice instructor and as a singing educator for smaller ensembles, including Carte Blanche, Norway's national company for contemporary dance.

Sigrun Jørdre has her singing education from the Grieg Academy in Bergen and further education in children's choir conducting from the Norwegian Academy of Music. Sigrun has extensive experience with church music and ensemble singing, and has worked as a freelance singer since 2006. She has worked as a singing teacher at cultural school, high school and college, and specializes in working with children's choirs aged 5-13 years.

Zsuzsa Zseni is a Hungarian mezzo-soprano. In 2009 she completed her singing studies in Szeged, Hungary and the same year she won the special prize for best performance in the Franz Lehar International Singing Competition in Komarno, Slovakia. She has a master's degree in singing from the Grieg Academy in Bergen, has been a member of the YAGA program in Norway and a finalist in the Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition in London in 2016. She had her debut in London as Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro) in 2016, and sang Mercedes (Carmen) in Munich in 2018. Since 2018, she has been a singer and artistic director of the Bjørgvin Trio. She is currently compleating a PMD in performing music at the University of Stavanger.  

Tord Kalvenes is a freelance composer and singer living in Bergen. He has a master's degree in musicology from the University of Oslo and has studied composition and ensemble management at the Norwegian Academy of Music. Kalvenes also has experience with teaching at both upper secondary and college level. His music has been performed both domestically and abroad and has been nominated for the Musikkforleggerprisen. Tord has broad ensemble experience, is the founder of TABULA RASA and part of the artistic management of the ensemble.

Arild Rohde is a conductor and singer, living in Bergen. He has a master's degree in musicology from the University of Oslo, and a bachelor's degree in choir conducting from the Amsterdam Conservatory. As a conductor, he has experience with everything from opera to children's choirs but has primarily worked with chamber choirs. As a singer, he has sung in a number of high-level choirs, and has since 2019 been the musical and is a part of the artistic management of TABULA RASA.

Jakub Niedziela works as a freelance singer and cultural school teacher. He has studied singing at the University of Stavanger with Bettina Smith and music pedagogy at the Music Institute in Katowice, Poland. He is an experienced ensemble singer and bass soloist, and collaborates with Trondheim Vocal Ensemble, Valen Vocal Ensemble, TSO, NOSO, Opera Rogaland, the vocal group PiP and Soloist Ensemble Camerata Silesia. As a soloist in recent years, he has sung Kong Erik in Fredkulla, Sciarrone in Tosca, Alcindoro in La Boheme and Jotun Dovre in the newly composed opera Harald Dovrefostre.
